RAMP REGISTRATION LINK

Welcome! If you’re a returning player welcome back, and if you’re a new player let me assure you that you’re at the right place.

Ringette is a great game and our Thunder Ringette Teams are happy you’re joining and are willing to help and share experiences where necessary.  We are truly excited that you’re joining us!

Firstly,  registration is completed through a system called RAMP.  This system is used for communication throughout the year and scheduling.  You can access it through a desktop/tablet however if possible you are encouraged to install on a smart phone device to stay up to date throughout the year.  You will have to create an account if this is your first time using RAMP

All Fees are payable directly to the St.Thomas Ringette Association via Electronic Funds Transfer to stthomasringettetreasurer@gmail.com
Ensure your player’s first and last name are included in the comments.  NO PASSWORD IS REQUIRED

All players are required to have full equipment including a ringette style cage on their helmet.

What’s included

Our fees are inclusive of all Ringette Ontario Fees for registration and insurance. Fees include ice time for practice and games.  We practice and play in both the St.Thomas Memorial and Joe Thornton Rinks here in St. Thomas.  Practices at Rinks outside St.Thomas may occur as we explore options for more ice time in our neighbouring communities.

In previous years our FUN3-U19 Teams were on ice 2-3 times per week.  We also conduct on ice player development by booking power skating sessions for our teams.  The fees also cover the registration for the Ringette Regional Tournament held in late March early April and our year end banquet.

The fees do not cover optional tournaments.  Where possible teams conduct some fundraising activities to off-set these tournament costs.

Bond Cheque

All players are required to provide a $200 bond cheque post dated to MARCH 31 2027.  Bond cheques will be collected before the player’s first ice-time.   Parents and/or players are required to complete volunteer time throughout the seasons by helping with bingos, scoreboard, and time clocks or volunteer on the Board.  There are numerous opportunities that require volunteers. The number of hours required differ depending on the division level of the player.

Provided that the volunteer hours are met, bond cheques will be returned end of season.

Travel to games

Thunder Ringette plays others teams from around South Western Ontario.  Travel to towns such as Godrich, St.Marys, London, Tilsonburg, Kitchener and Waterloo for games is required. Most of these games are on Saturday or Sunday but we do have an occasional week day game.   While we are sure you will want to watch the game, sometimes other commitments get in the way,  arranging car pool with other Thunder families is encouraged.

Ringette players in older age groups U16+ may have to travel further for away games.

RESPECT IN SPORT

Ringette Ontario requires one parent for every player under 18 to complete a course on Respect in Sport.  If you need difficulty accessing this course please contact the registrar. The course is offered online takes approximately 2 hours to complete.  The course prices was $13 in 2024.

Once complete you will get a certificate and the certificate number is to be added to yours and your players RAMP profile by sending this information to the Registrar or providing to your teams coaches.
